New Zealand is located in the Southern Pacific Ocean and comprises two main islands (the North and South Islands). A country approximately the size of the UK but a tiny population of around 4 million by comparison the country has a reputation for being an unspoiled haven in the South Pacific. The diverse landscape is filled with uncrowded beaches, lakes, rainforests, glaciers, grassy plains, mountains and fiords.

The country lends itself to a wealth of outdoor activities including tramping, camping and skiing ,adrenalin pumping sports such as bungee jumping, snowboarding, jet boating and rock climbing, vibrant cities and unique indigenous cultures.

Farming is a major industry and New Zealand farmers are amongst the most efficient in the world.
